Equipment for paper presentation Each lecture room will be equipped with an overhead projector and an LCD projector (no slide projector!). Although there will be a PC computer available in each lecture room, it is advisable to bring your own lap top computer and have your presentation ready to go. SCOPE The 3rd edition of the Seminar will examine the applications of intelligent computation and related metodologies including expert systems, fuzzy logic, neural networks, genetic algorithms, multi agents, etc., as well as hybrid systems combining one or more of these techniques as applied to manufacturing engineering problems. The main scope of the Seminar is to provide an international forum for the exchange of the knowledge, information, experience and results as well as the review of progress and discussion on the state-of-the-art and future trends in artificial intelligence methods applied to manufacturing processes. The Seminar will represent an exciting opportunity for experts to meet, interact and share ideas about this highly dynamic and promising research field.
